TabXi Technologies is a ridesharing service that allows customers to start a tab for their ride as a person would start a tab at a bar. Uber, Lyft, and other ride-sharing services require customers to pay for their rides immediately after each ride is taken. This “pay as you go” methodology used by Uber and Lyft is problematic because customers are unable to predict the number of times in the course of a day or week that one may need a ride. Moreover, customers who have to upload expenses to an expense report and those who like to keep up with receipts for their financial book usually receive multiple paper copies that can be difficult to keep track of and maintain. TabXi will allow customers to open a tab, close it at the end of each day or week, receive one digital receipt for all of their rides taken, and then charged the total amount to the credit or debit card that is on file, all while earning points. Users will also have the chance to receive money from family and friends through our cash gift system.
Through our customer loyalty program, TabXi customers will earn one point for every dollar spent using TabXi ride services. The accumulation of points can help reduce the cost of an expensive tab and in some cases cover the tab’s total. Our goal is to launch this new model of ride sharing in college towns, large business centers, and smaller cities that Uber and Lyft have neglected. We believe that our unique approach to ride-sharing will enable us to disrupt the market that Uber and Lyft have captured. We plan to take care of our drivers as well. Every mile one drives while on the clock is equivalent to 5 points. Drivers will accumulate these points to purchase gas cards and other necessities. TabXi will take 30% of every fair, while drivers take 70% and will be paid once a weel. However, our app will allow for in app tipping which will allow users to tip their drivers. This tip goes straight into the drivers bank account that night and never touches TabXi’s hands.
